‘Self Care Series’

As our world seems to speed up and we have so many tasks to attend too it is becoming increasingly important to remember how essential it is to take care of ourselves. To connect with our inner being, to take time out, just for us, to honour ourselves and prioritise our needs. To remind us to do just this I have begun a new series called 'Self Care'

To represent ‘self’ in these images, I chose the Koala, not only because native Australian wildlife is an integral part of my artwork but to honour these beautiful creatures and acknowledge the very real threat of extinction that they are currently experiencing.
