About the Design

‘Bubblegum Nut’ was painted using Bombay Indian Inks as a part of my 2021 Inktober challenge. I chose to focus on our beautiful native Australian plants. With this particular design I chose to experiment with a vibrant colour palette of blues and purples instead of the natural tones. The effect reminded me of the bubblegum ice-cream flavour, hence the name ‘Bubblegum Nut’
